What is Tamiya Mini 4WD Racing?
Tamiya Mini 4WD are palm sized kitset race cars, easy snap fit construction and raced in purpose built tracks. There is no remote control! It’s all about building, tuning and customising the cars for optimal performance on each racetrack with its jumps, drops, twists and turns.

When & where are races held?
Napier, Hawkes Bay
Napiers' club welcomes everyone to join in and holds their races fortnightly at the St Augustines hall on 104d Latham Street. Doors open at 5:30pm for car testing, registrations for racing closes at 6pm. Junior racing starting at 6:15pm, Pro-racers start immediately afterwards.

Registration fee of $2.00 per racer per class, membership is free.

Do I need a track at home?
Hometracks are available but are not required. Cooltoys has a track free to use for testing and racing.
